V is for values...in this episode we will discuss the value of each of the different components of survival and learn how to prioritize our decisions...
Visitors...Some people could learn how to be a visitor to the wild and leave less of a footprint. How to Visit the bush without burning it down or vandalizing it.
vitality? vision (aids ie flashlights fires etc) or... the title you already used... Vexxed... how to approach a situation or problem you find yourself unsure of in a safe and reasonable manner
V is for ventilation. Condensation can make the inside of your shelter miserable with cold dripping water or every surface glazed over with ice, including you and your blanket or sleeping bag.
This may be a bit on the nose.. but why not just keep it as vexed... and discuss some of the common issues that arise whilst in the wild that seem to to trouble some.
v is for venus as in venus fly trap, they are the most efficient energy saving plant on the planet, if you tickle them too much they die, that just shows how well calculated the plant is to save such energy to perform such a task, imagine your stomach acids boiling up when you havnt eaten could you survive? chewing gum? makes me hungry.
vegimite? Just kidding. V is for values, when practicing bushcraft skills one must maintain a standard code of values for obvious reasons. ie: Leave no trace or at least minimize your impact so that the next person by can also enjoy a pristine wilderness experience.
I'm new to this series and this specific video and therefore have not watched all the videos. That said, I might be redundant by saying this, but what about V stands for VITALS? That could tie into first aid as well. If nothing else, just learn how to take care of yourself physically if you were alone and stranded and show some of the techniques used to administer your own basic first aid. Also, vitals could stand for what really is vital and in what order in the case something bad happened.
@bean432 - Correct, but there are also venomous insects, spiders (which are not insects), jellyfish, Blue-Ringed Octopus, cone shells, the Platypus (venom gland on male's claw) and ex-wives. :-)
Or vulnerable a chance to see the dangers posed upon the fellow man when nature strikes cold weather rain heat etc all things you should no about when travelling
yup i do agree ventile the bushcraft choice since 1940s hehe soundless natral and comfi whoop whoop or versitile its always good to have many choices in the woods liek my spelling it changes by mood but am sure no 1 will judge
v for vally creek beds and other water sores are ofen found in vallies, vallies are also usefull for food gathering and sometimes for shelter from high winds.
