I started to play pump in .. like...2004 and cause of that vid... so I belive its older... and in that time, Sao Paulo PLayers only tryed to copy korean vids at most.... I actually though that sucked hard...

no. and there are several reasons for this. ddr is focused around upbeat techno and house music. pump it up has such a larger variety. ddr has four pads, pump it up has five. bcuz of this pump it up is more natural. u can actually dance on a pump it up machine. i have yet to see a 'good' ddr player that doesnt use the bar behind them and look like they are havin a seizure while playin. pump it up i see ppl havin fun.

AMEN! I have 1 song on DDR I "freestyle" to (Long Train Running, Light, Double) and a couple I use to dance to with a friend...but as soon as I discovered the joys of PIU, I stopped playing DDR. Not even In The Groove can compare to PIU if you ask me, sure the songs are good but I love the K-Pop and some Banya songs.

hells yea man. pump it up = the best dance game ever. not a dance simluation game like ddr or in the groove. but the best dance game ever. the learnin curve is so much easier too. u can pick up this game pretty quick but to get good u need to put in the time ( and most cases the money @_@ ) and crazy thing is this game has helped so much in my bboyin as well! not only can i beat this game on crazy , cuz of this i am such a better bboy. havnt quite been able to combine the two like him tho props!

Well, it's not like I hate breakdancing (in fact I like breakdancing), but this guy is a shame. Y'know, you don't need Pump to breakdance. If you choose to breakdance on Pump anwyay, you should at least HIT THE ARROWS, since that's what Pump are made for.
