It's a lot of sharing video in YouTube's but I think there's great different technique,how to arrange,and of course,atmosphere.So we could experience more different enjoying but only one song! it's indicated that Jeff's greatful!!At least,I think so.And I've heard Scatterbrain is one of the most difficult songs in Jeff but I was atonishment several times as to Jeff's freshlyplaying!!!It doesn't seem to me tremendously difficult if I watch anyways!But I can't play it so well=-(

You know, both this album and the album with him wearing the dinner jacket on the cover are great, but all Jeff Beck album's are great, including garage talent. But the album this is off of...gotta be my fave.

...i remember 'scatterbrain' from blow by blow...it was one of my favorite jeff's themes but this north sea jazz festival new arrangement with this unbelievable jason's electric piano solo is my favorite scatter.......

The beginning main guitar theme (played twice) is in 9/8 which are follow by 2 measure breakdowns in 6/8. The first solo section is in 4/4 with that same 2 measure 6/8 breakdown then back into the 4/4 solo section. This structure repeats itself. note, (I'm listening to the album version)

The crazy beginning part is in 5.. during the keyboard solo it's in 5, and the part right before the keyboard solo... it's like two counts of 5, then the head part, then a count of 4 and a count of 5.

That's Vinnie Colaiuta.. he plays everything from ACDC to ZZ TOP.  He even played drums ine on of Megadeth's album.

He's not struggling with the speed... he makes faces (like all drummers).
