It was one of my first ports of call when I was in the American Navy.

I saw some of the most beautiful women in the world there and dated half of them in three days...LOL.

After getting out of the Navy I did a lot of research on treasure hunting and wreck diving. I could have very easily made San Juan my main port of call if my wife would have lived in the Islands.

It is a great place with beautiful people if you just treat them with respect they will treat you the same in return.

I live in the southern part, I recommend you should visit my town named Cabo Rojo, its on the west-south part of Puerto Rico. Cabo Rojo has some of the best beaches in the south, with a famous lighthouse (some movies have been filmed there)and you can see the amazing cliffs. Also I recommend you visit La Parguera in the town of Lajas, during the night you can go in a boat trip to see the Bioluminescent Bay. Finally, in the south, a good place to visit is the city of Ponce.

Old San Juan is a very romantic place, colorful buildings, narrow streets just like andalucia, the sound of the cuatro playing. Nothing like walking with your love one down those cobblestreets.
