ALL of those 1200 HP skylines you see run non-sequential meaning 1 small turbo that spools a larger turbo... the smaller turbo is actually HUGE, and the bigger turbo is ridiculously insane... i cant stand when people post and they dont know wtf they are talking about... Supra 2jz-gte and 300ZX (VQ30DETT???) both run similar setups, 1 small 1 large improves gas mileage, throttle responce, and power.

I have never seen a sequential skyline, GTR use 2 of the same size turbo's from the factory with no tricky valving or anything like a standard supra or RX7 use.

And the 1200hp+ cars use 2 the same same (3037 ect) or just one big one (GT55 ect). NONE use any form of sequential setup.

Also a supra uses 2 turbo's the same size just with valves, and a 300zx just has 2 the same no sequential at all.

it depends on which route you are willing to go. you can go the heads and cam route, or forced induction. i really dont know much about jap cars since im a muscle car guy, so i cant give you a price. but i will tell you that forced induction is easier to achieve 500 hp with, you have to do a lot of engine work if you arent willing to use forced induction. it also depends on how much power the engine is already making too.

Depends on alot of factors. For a good cond RB26 it may cost say 10-15k (6-10kUS) for 500hp depending on what parts you use. You need quite abit of stuff, injectors, bigger exhaust intercooler and Turbo's an aftermarket computer, a beefier clutch wouldnt hurt plus the the costs of fitting and having it tuned. Not cheap. But if you include a few K of suspension work there isnt too many production cars that would beat it in a straight line or on a circuit.

No way not a 1000 for an Intercooler. I wouldn't pay that much because I can find parts under list/retail. If you have the tools you can still use the factory computer to a degree, until you want to run 7's all day.
