I'm 16, but I just recently got interested in anime. Death Note, Elfen Lied, and Higurashi have all been great. If anyone can reccomend other dark, creepy, bloody anime series', I'd appreciate it. :)

I don't find age matters when watching horror movies/anime... I watched this anime when i was 10. Actually, i watched a lot of anime when i was at around that age, but now I'm more addicted to manga. But, back to the point... seriously, most children nowadays watch whatever they want. If they get frightened, then it's their fault. At least it'll teach them a lesson not to watch horror movies again.

Plus this stuff isn't as twisted as other works from the same guy. In Umineko there is a scene with a naked guy getting eaten alive by goat headed butler demon things. 0.o
