  • I'd rather believe in Christianity and it turn out to be a lie, than to not believe in Christianity and Armageddon would appear. Adding to the first part, if it turned out to be a lie, what is so wrong to have a happy life throughout my belief with nothing but optimism? When I am down, and nobody is there to help me, at least I can look up to God for assurance. Believe what you believe, but I believe for these reasons.

  • our choir is doing this song! I was amazed at the beauty of the song! One of our most talented performers has the solo and he almost made me cry because of the passion he put in to the lyrics! Glory to God!!!

  • To all the negative people, please Do not judge, who do you think you are? You have no right to judge. Don't tell me "it's just my opinion" b.s. you are judging and you need to stop it OKay? Just listen to the music,,,,,

  • Put the rhetoric to one side for the moment and enjoy the wonderful spirituality that is expressed superbly by michael.

  • guys i think that what matters here is that he resurrected and he lives for ever.

  • guys stop arguing.. why not try to find a quite place pray to God about what's the real thing about all of him.. you will be surprise how he will answer you. it may not be the way you expected it but i'm pretty sure once he answer you. you will never question him again.

if you dont believe in God say it to him that you don't. and he will do something to make you believe he is true. God is interested about how we feel about him.

  • thats not always true

(he started as a keyboard player/songwriter with Amy Grant back in the early 80's)

His first album: PROJECT is still relevent and awesome!

    Vee, colorado

  • He started with Amy in the late70's. I saw her with him in 1979 at the Jesus festivil in My Union Pa.

  • To God be the glory for this great and anointed music !

  • Annointed music? How could you know and understand God and annointed music? your mind has succumbed to intellectual vulgarity. You actually believe some moral imbecile universe creator sent his son to be sacrificed for the sins of others. That's vile and sick. Triumphant blood cult of superstition.

  • Nick, Jesus is God. John 1:1 Col 1:15-20Hebrews 1:1-4 Son means first in position. When Jesus died and rose he is now Heir of all things. He is the eternal God. Eternal means forever. Even in Genesis 1 says then God said, Let us make man in OUR image in our likeness. God the Father, God the Son God the Holy Spirit in unity. One God working together.

  • I know the scripture, I have heard the verses, But I understand they are fraudulent. Even so, let's examine your sentimental elaboration for God's unity. Ok then, if he is eternal, how can he ever die? You either are or your not, you can have your theism but no death, or deism and let him die.

  • in the beginning man tried to be their own god. Man went to the priest only once a year and maybe tried to obey the ten commandments but never had a desire to want to know God. Moses had to speak to the people because they did not want to hear Gods voice. God made a way for man to know him by coming in the flesh. God was invisible, Jesus was the image of the invisible God . Read Isaiah 52 and 53

  • Don't worry I have read Isaiah more times than you, but thanks for the recommendation. Isaiah is just another book that God changes his character in. Now he is a mystery, yet known, but not known like the burning bush, but known enough to reveal vague prophecies. It is all very absurd.

  • one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I would rather find out than think your own thoughts. It is by faith you are saved not by your own way.

  • You mean the own way God gave Eve?, LOL, you are just vile and vulgar.

  • Isaiahs prophecy is awesome because 500 years before Jesus died on the cross Isaiah prophesied about it. The BIble changes your life Nick. But I am not going to make any more post. You have to realize that you need God. TOday is the Day of Salvation says the Lord. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead you shall be saved.

  • Sorry, but there is not one verse that says Jesus will die on a cross, not one, never, ever, period.

  • Isaiah 52:13 Jesus is the Serfant of God. Read it very carefully. Jesus was disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyound human likeness so will be sprinkle many nations and kings will shut their mouth of him. It goes on in 53 talking about him.

  • As I have stated, I know Isaiah better than you, and I don't have to read it, to know it does not say Jesus. You might have got me to look it up if you said it mentions Immanuel, but it doesn't, so nice try.

  • YA U WISH U DID U JERK

  • oh but there is. crucifying means killing on the cross that day. and when the leading priests and the crowd was yelling crucify him, there goes a verse saying that jesus will die on a cross.

  • yes there is one u it now i know uve never read the bible

  • @1423cats: My sister had malaria once in one of asian countries. But Thank God, God was with her at that time. I wasn't with her,too pitty. But maybe people thought she was alone when she was very sick, but God was with her at that time and All the time of her life, offcourse. Jesus loves her so much and Jesus loves you, too.

  • Why wasn't this God thing with your sister prior to contracting malaria?, isn't prevention better for the soul. Your god thing wants us to act before we break his contract, why can't he act before we contract some sickness? I know the answer, but do you?

  • @elvismilk Without suffering we do not realize our deepest need for God. If God always interjected and allowed us prosperity, we wouldn't develop and grow as Christians. That is why the bible clearly states it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than it is for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. God is always here. He is with us. There is no contract in which you are talking about. Faith in Christ is the only justification for our souls. Amen.

  • Why didn't your god thing hand Adam and Eve a Bible? Why if your god thing talked in the Old Testament, doesn't it talk today.

  • First to answer your question, we must think what is the purpose of the bible. It has the accounts from the beginning the history of the Jewish people and the predictions of the of the coming Savior for King David. Then it tells the story of how Jesus came as promised from the prophets to be an King and savior of an eternal kingdom. Im not sure why you would think Adam and Eve would need a bible. They in the presence of God. Secondly, not everything in the Bible is a literal translation.Continue

  • Being in the presence of God, ok that is significant how? Was that some type of advantage compared to no presence? What was a God to Adam and Eve? Did God explain creation to them? God was a voice in their heads, what's that about?

  • Certainly none of us are qualified of being in the presence of God. We're all sinners. We're all human and therefore unworthy of the presence of God. However, being in the presence of the Almighty God, would certainly have significance beyond measure. It would be unfathomable to describe the advantages of having God on our side. Certainly God couldn't describe every nuance of creation to us. We are limited human beings. God speaks to those who listen. He speaks in various ways.

  • What was the advantage to having this god thing on Eve's side?

  • The advantage was God allowed Adam and Eve in his presence, when we lived in truth and were obedient. Before the fall she was blameless, therefore had no remorse, guilt, anguish, sorrow, sadness and etc... She walked upright in the presence of God. As we all would without sin. Everyone knows when they have done wrong. Because, we are disobedient we lead ourselves away from God. However, that is the beauty of Christ. While we are in flesh we will always be sinners. It is impossible to not sin.

  • They how did Eve learn to disobey? If the serpent tricked her, then the serpent knew how to disobey, therefore sin existed before Adam and Eve, therefore Eve walked in a world already sinful. And Christ being human was also born into sin, sorry.

  • God created the world and Adam and Eve. Then Satan tried to overthrow God, and God created Hell for Satan. Gods didn't create us and create for us. He created hell for the devil. The Satan came to earth and deceived Eve, thinking she would be wise somewhat like God. Thus she disobeyed God, eating from the forbidden fruit. He tempts us. Yes Christ was born into a world with sin, otherwise their would be no need for Christ. From one man sin entered the world and from one man sin was conquered.

  • Exactly, so what's the big deal about Jesus warding off temptation for 40days and nights, without food don't forget, if he is the son of some god thing? Why pat Jesus on the back for telling the devil, NO? Please explain.

  • Jesus is the son of God. However, he was in the flesh. That means he had all the same desires and temptations that everyone has. Except he didn't give in to those desires. Without food is important, because he denied his own desire for food. The ways of God and his journey was more important than eating, as Jesus said, Man can not live by bread alone. He must feed on every word of God. We are not patting him on the back for that. We are patting him on the back for resurrecting from the dead.

  • Flesh that went 40 days without food, now the guy in Haiti went two weeks, that's 14 days, 26 days less than Jesus, almost impossible unless you are a god thing, huh? Even hunger strikers can't walk after 3 weeks without food, how did Jesus gather up the energy to ward off temptation, maybe he was comatose and couldn't move, that might have helped.

  • Look up Jentezen Franklin. His whole church goes on a 21 day fast. There are other key figures in the Bible that go on lengthy fasts. The point of the fasting is denying yourself for God. To clear your mind to be inline with God. I think you should like into the book or movie called "The Case for Christ" be Lee Strobel. Watch it and it might help you realize it actually takes more faith to disbelieve in Christ. Let me know what you think.

  • On trust me I know the Bible says Moses came down then went back up, that's 80days. Looking up Jenetezen gets me what? 21days, that's not 40. If fasting gets one inline with god, why did god hardwire the need for food? What's more important the inline or the food? I have read Lee's crazy books and I did not like them, thanks though, Lee should have never thought he was better than the Chicago Tribune.

  • Ok. I believe you. I bet you have read the bible. You don't have to try and convince me. Because I don't know all the answers. I don't know if the bible is completely accurate. All I know is in my heart I have a deep longing for Christ and Faith in Christ is the only thing that will matter in the end. He is the only justification for my life. But their is no denying the life of Paul and his transformation and commitment to Christ.

  • Believe me, huh? I'll send you a picture, I have at my house one of the largest private libraries on the west coast(that has actually been read, touched by my hands) and a huge part of my libraries consists of theological writings, including my six favorite Bibles I am always reading and consulting. Saul/Paul's transformation in no way proves a god thing exists.

  • I think maybe you should read all those books with a open heart and ask God to give you the faith to accept the writings. Because you can not develop faith by yourself.

  • Stop with the poetic heart absurdity, if God could create an universe, he can make us all believers. That just seems like one law he couldn't seem to get correctly imprinted into all of our brains, oh well.

  • Why would God make us believe. I guess if he wanted robots to worship him. However, God grants us free will. We come to God because we choose to. That is why they call it faith. However, just believing isn't all that matters. You have to be obedient to God. Even the devil believes in God. He just isn't obedient.

  • Why would this god thing make us believe, hello, but how was Eve suppose to know who this god thing was then?

  • Im not going to argue theology with you anymore. What a waste of time to read all of those books that you do not believe in. You obviously do not listen to your heart. You use your mind and what you have been taught from the secular. Its a real shame that obviously you have some desire for the truth, but you are blinded by your own doubt and disbelief. I hope and pray for you and myself. I have disbelief and doubt my self. But thank God it only takes mustard size faith. May peace be with you.

  • Arguing theology is about nothing anyway, so you have lost nothing. Good luck moving that mountain. LOL

  • @kevingaroutte Ah, but he does listen to his heart. For we know from Jeremiah 17:9 that "the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked." He's listening to his heart, and it's lying.

  • Pattting an eternal being on the back, matterless nonetheless, LOL.

  • Hello cats, but atheism is fueled by the bible, the fraudulent flames of some theistic monster thing light up to the sky amongst the pages of canonical, mythical scripture.

  • @1423cats I have no idea what you just said. Please, if you are going to comment. Make it legible. Thank you.

  • dude. he died as a human, and rose up to his father as a spirit smarts. you obviously have never read the bible thoroughly or even went to church once.

  • Sorry, but I am knowledgeable of the entire Bible, and his body was removed from the cross, his body walked out of his tomb, and his body resurrected, nowhere is this a spirit, this in flesh and resurrected blood, period.

  • he walked out of the tomb but he was a spirit tho. flesh dont pop up outta nowhere in a locked room. he popped up outta nowhere in front of the disciples. and humans dont rise into the sky with no nothing.

  • If the room was locked how did the other people get in there? And if they didn't see flesh rising in the air, what exactly did they see? If spirit is matterless, did they use some time of matterless vision glasses?

  • wow your really stupid for the first question. it was only the disciples in there and they were all together. and the room was locked. no one else got in there smarts. proves that you dont read it. and also spirit is matterless. doesnt make them not able to see. the people who saw him rise was disciples and the others and they were all believers of jesus and they are spiritual. they all have faith and they could see. =D

  • You probably believe the moon is made out of cheese too. I have read it, and trust me, it is as absurd as the first time I read as it is the last. The fraudulent claims are still as fraudulent.

  • omg u must be an idiot

  • wat r u stupid

  • yes they can u big idiot

  • RIGHT ON

  • wat r u an idiot. of cpurse he did and if he didnt ... u wpuldnt be alive . so shut up and dont say anything, becuase you really dont know wat ur saying
