Well he was on Regis and Kelly this morning and explained what failed and what was supposed to happen. Apparently ABC kept delaying the show longer than supposed to and winds picked up, and they didn't want him to perform it. What was supposed to happen was David was going to jump off...dive forward towards the crowd, grab some balloons (which u saw) and fly away like Mary Poppins w/ her Umbrella lol. Supposedly that's what was SUPPOSED to happen, but we all saw that fail miserably.
