  • Thanks a lot! This helped me fix the fuel line in my Husqvarna 55 Rancher. I greatly appreciate the step by step walkthrough. Take care!

  • Great info...I had visions of a complete teardown to replace fuel line. Thank you!

  • @phantomgas48 Glad I could help

  • Procedure the same for a 445 husky?

  • almost you may have to adapt a bit

  • Stihl won't start!

  • check Compression should be better than 100 PSI

    let me know

    Rod

  • the jonsered 2041 is a hell of a lot easier to wok on. It was made before huskvarna bougt them out.

  • So it goes

  • amator sie meczy wystarczy cieniutkim drutem przeciagnąć przez zbornik

  • why are you makin such a mess?? Why didnt you empty out the gas before you did the job?

  • I like yer style.

  • Jonsered's and Husqvarna's saws are all basically the same?

  • Yes they are now but in the past they were two different companies. Jonsered had the better saw and Husqvarna knew that. So they bought them and several other saw companies. If you cannot make a better saw, them buy them. They now have one fine set of saws

  • is that another person or are you commentary ing on your self?

  • Yes this is me having fun Did both parts

  • Yes, husqvara owns jonsered. Only different designs.

  • Jonsered and Husqvarna chainsaw´s are built in the same factory in Huskvarna/Sweden.

  • there maid in the same factory

  • Haha "Pays to do it right the first time."

I have a vintage McCulloch Pro Mac 650 (mftrd 1978-1985). Never once had to change the fuel line on it... then again, I recently purchased it and I haven't put any serious mileage on it yet :)

    Nice [educational] video, thank you.

    Regards,

    Walter

  • yep!same common problem on husqvarna 340-345-350 (same machine)

  • Yes it was but now they have a new fuel line and they should last longer.

I have also fixed many fuel line problems on Stihl saws

  • For a couple of years we have been using "Aspen" 2stroke and apparently the rubber parts in the fuel-system are lasting a lot longer. This fuel is a lot less "agressive" than regular fuel. On top of that : no smoke, no smell, easy starting... Ever tried it?

  • my father and me have a store with stihl in slovenia. first my english is bad....before we start dealing stihl we dealing the husqvarna and jonsered....i know both of them are good saws but i prefer stihl...

  • HI

Nice to meet you. Stihl is also a good saw.

I also work on them . Nice to have a choice.

  • I also have done this faster by routing the line through the carb air box before puling the line into the fuel tank. Remember me when your sthil quits on you when you need it most.

  • thats takes a long time....buy yourself a stihl and you will change that faster

  • It all depends on the Stihl Model. Some you have to remove the carb to change the fuel line. But before you can do that you have to go so a Stihl dealer and talk to someone that know nothing about changing the line. All because you can not buy parts on line. You need a part from me for a Jonsered or Husqvarna . just email me.

  • haha funny & helpful! thanks BTW:jonsered makes some NICE saws

  • Great humor in the start! Thanks man!

  • thanks hope it helped
