Didn't you hear about this? Also, the House vows to defend Defense of Marriage Act despite the current administration and soon plans to file motions in all current cases challenging the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

@Mutedvox I don't know why you keep looking to me for answers. DOMA was signed into law in 1996 by former President Clinton. Gay marriage wasn't an issue then. Being in a civil union was enough. There are some in the gay community who don't agree with gay "marriage" and feel DOMA should be left as is. You don't realize Prop. 8 in CA was supported by families who do not want the gay/lesbian lifestyle pushed in their children's faces in grade school. You would see that as "intolerant."
