These are the kinds of images that you can look at a thousand times and see something different every time. They are incredibly well composed and balanced. For an artist to dismiss this work as less than respectable, is error in judgment, and they must not know much about good art. Giger has so greatly influenced film, music, and other related art forms, that I can't help wondering if it isn't plain out ignorance or jealousy that has allowed such unthoughtful responses.

I think Giger's art (as well as his countless imitators) looks awfully silly. You just see this kinda stuff everywhere: tattooes, SciFi Channel monster crap, video games, Anime, album covers. Giger is a Rather mediocre artist who one day happened to fall in with a talented young film director named Ridley Scott. Since then, Giger has been ripped off and/or worked on terrible films like Species,PoltergeistII.

Finally a video that does Giger justice! Every other youtuber who attempted to do a video about Giger ruined it by an 'I'm gonna slit my wrists cos I'm an emo' type of music which really degrades the work and doesn't do it any justice whatsoever. Sorry to rant so much about the type of music to accompany the video, but it really does contribute to the atmosphere. Anyway, rant over, thanks for choosing a decent soundtrack. Excellent video.
