Can't say I was ever a fan of this album. I remember when this first came out, I found it disappointing and today, listening to it, it doesn't seem THAT bad (say compared to todays "black metal" such as dimmu and satyricon). The production still sounds flat without much depth, the guitar tone should be heavier, darker and the minipulated vocal effect is just irratating. If the songs were to have been better arranged, better vocals and a proper production, this could have been another Arcturus.

Extraño mucho su viejo sonido, su album Animatronic es bueno, pero no se compara a sus 2 obras maestras "Nexus Polaris" y "In Times Before The Light" ... no digo que su musica industrial sea mala, se me hace de las mejores bandas en este terreno, pero ellos hacian un black metal increible, ojala algun dia regresen a sus viejos tiempos.

they played almost every song on nexus polaris when touring for its release back in the day... I went to see em more than once :) And like most bands they probably will play it again someday..when they eventually get of their asses and release Aria Galactica and start touring again
