This is my father's horse. The National Park use some of Dad's horses to graze the fields along the coastal path. He is now safe at home on the farm. Thank you everyone who was involved in the rescue.Fantastic job. xx
tonyrra - thanks, it certainly is a sobering thought when presented with several hundred kilos of panicky animal, we were all delighted with the outcome though.
NannaDimitri - All well thanks, and no, our training is usually focused on human rescues!, but one of the crew on this shout, Dan, has quite a bit of experiences with horses.
Carol4horses - I'm afraid that we don't know about the ownership of the horse, we were simply responsible for returning safely back to dry land.
MsPolly1976 - Thanks for that, Richard was the brave soul who managed to get hold of the horse first. No injuries beyond some minor bruising thankfully.
Fabulous job guys - but i did have to laugh at whoever got the first dunking as the pony lept forward. Hope no-one was too seriously hurt ;-) Well done.
omg! How could he be alive!
Well done guys!

Shame there was never a video of the time Cardigan ILB rescued a sheep only for it to give birth in the boat!

Poor little pony :( Hope everyone was allright. Good job, despite the fact that it doesn't look like they delt with horses before.
