hi mate,

my connection was slightly off on this Lavatube (as explained in the vid) but I've since purchased another Lavatube and that was perfect :)

and yes, the newer versions have black buttons rather than silver

you can use VG in the Lil Mama tank....just punch 2 holes rather than one and make sure to pre fill the cartomiser when using for the 1st time ;)

so, it is more than possible, but there is an exeption - you must use 2 ohm+ cartomiser

or (1.5ohm with less than 4 volts)

Hey Scott, I've seen a video that says that the hole at the bottom doesn't actually go all the way through. Is this true? And do you foresee this potentially causing problems in the future should a battery come (or become) defective?

i never realised that! i saw a hole and assumed that it went all the way through! lol

when i blow through it air does pass through, but it would definitely be better if the hole went all the way through the cap.........personally i don't really see it as much of an issue though and anyone with concerns could easily drill it ;)

Hi Scott, I am saving for a provari and found out about this. You've had it a few days now, would you say the difference in price is worth the difference in product? Is there any noticeable difference of any importance other than the voltage/ohm checker to someone who has never used either mod before? Cheers, ash

Yea my ce3s seem to vape very well at 3.2volts!! I just got some even more low resistance ones! They may even manage to vape 1.2 volts hehehe! Yea maybe not quite!!! Now if only I was good at making box mods!!

I guess your right but wouldn't it be nice to use the standard AA charger? I got a nice 1000ma 4 channel charger and Eneloop batteries in both AA and AAA flavour! No more odd blue NanoFire or EpicFire or CrappoFire lottery or odd chargers and store bought batteries would mean a dead battery doesn't ruin the day!

I wonder if such a thing would work even if it means using really LR atties?

hi mate,

well the AA batteries are 1.5v, so i guess you could make a box mod that has them in parallel to create 3v........that still isn't high enough for normal atomisers / cartomisers, but the bottom coil cartomisers vape brilliantly at 3v ;)

e-cigs are a safer alternative to smoking.......so for those people who enjoy smoking but don't want to endure all the cancer triggering chemicals they can use an e-cig instead ;)

the one in this vid obviously does not look like a real cigarette so will very likely look extremely odd to someone who has not seen an e-cig before, lol....but there are also many e-cigs on the market that replicate the look and size of a traditional tobacco cigarette too :)

I've been vaping for over 3 years and I guess I am still waiting for the AA mod that really vapes from safe, standard alkaline or Nimh AAs! Is it even doable with a fancy electronic circuit like this mod has? Obviously without the volts be too low!

im not sure whether it is possible or not, but in all the years we have been vaping (you have been vaping a long time too) how many times have we heard of an accident involving the batteries that we use?

I've only ever heard of one incident, and that was due to a faulty atomiser causing a short rather than the battery itself

hey scott hope we get a side by side comparison to the provari. i have used my provari for a year now daily and the only problem is the button is vulnerable to any massive leaking from the outside. example would be from map tanks that leak alot can run back inside the button to the electronics. im eager to see if the lavatube is completely sealed against this. cheers.

to be completely honest, i see that as more of a fault with your MAP tank rather than the Provari......though i do understand your point ;)

have you heard of the Big Daddy or Lil Mama tanks? I've been using one for the past week or so and its fantastic on the Provari and does not leak one single drop ;)

If you want to know if your batteries will fit just measure them from end to end including any nipple. As long as it is 65mm [which an 18650 *should* be] then it will fit.

Scott what about when bactery is near to finish (like the led pulse of the provary) ? And what about the activate button ? It's hard ? Soft ? Respect the provari ?

Test if u can, the bactery management respect provari: for example if with the same bacterie and the sama atomizer in wich pv the bacterie live more .. :D
