i was there last summer .Me use lots of smal to big friends and wedges.Fu.. this hillbillroles,me from sweden and lots of climber her to is hillbillyboys. No musick or no bear f...that shit
I am from the north of the Czech Rupublic and I have these wonderfull rocks 15 minutes from my house. Czech climbing is very traditional and basic idea of sandstone rockclimbing is minimum of bolts in the rock. It is best place for climbing in the world! :)
Another thing I have noticed over my years at the crag is that climbers are simply not dickheads. All seem to have a pritty good attitude towards people. You come across as very arrogant and rude. I doubt you're that great a climber for that reason alone.
@uthikoloshe You must not climb. YES, the answer is YES, it is worth the risk of 100 foot falls to avoid bolts in the rock. The ADVENTURE of climbing is much more important than the SAFETY of clim, bing. Always has been, hopefully always will be. That is why we climb, the adventure, the risk, the unpredictability of the objective hazards. If it is too scary for you, either progress your skills or go back to the safety of the gym and quit bitching.
@enjoiloveify It may be the way you climb, but I don't understand the need for unessessary risk. If you're that unbothered by death then go join the army and die for something worthwhile. I climb soprt routes. If the fall looks like i might break my ankle slamming, i reach for the clipstick. That way, I know i'll still be climbing the next weekend, rather than sat immobile on the sofa with the plystation.
@uthikoloshe I kinda agree with you and kinda don't. You definitely shouldn't bolt everything, especially if it can be climbed without bolts. Although I do get annoyed when I see the first bolt 40ft up. I mean if you are going to bolt something it can be bold without making it a death consequence.
you know it baby! yeah got it since i posted that last message, just recently got the players and the fanatic search too worth checkin out if you're into climbing/bouldering man,

This to me is a classic example of stupidity. Is there really a need to take 100 foot falls for the sake of drilling a few bolts?

It is the Elbandsteingebirge in the East of Germany, near Czechia. Frabkenjura is well bolted, Elbsandstein is the hardest spot in Germany-

Surely there must be suitable, even better climbing regions elsewhere where they allow actual safety precautions.
