i have a question, it is named the samsung infuse 4g but i have yet to see a 4g symbol on my phone anywhere ( i have had it for 8 months now) and i am just puzzled as to is it 3g or 4g?
I like how deceptively you left out that you cannot play Media Hub content to the TV. Yeah, you can play videos from your video library, but not from Media Hub because its a protected file type.
@Robotboy02 Deceptively? Wasn't deceptive at all. Actually at the time of this review I wasn't able to download content from the media hub yet it was just available to view and wasn't active until after the phone launch.
It's actually a really nice phone. At first, I thought it was another fail attempt at defeating the iPhone 4, but I am slowly eating my words. It appears huge at first, but kinda grows on you. I also love the fact that it allows you to customize it however you'd like. So, I say give it a try. You'll be amazed.
@SmartPhoneGuru All depends on your usage. When i worked with it heavy it would last about a day. When I went light on it went about day and and half. Talking real world usage.
here's a website that you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about any cell phone, or carrier. it has an easy phone finder button, forums, and this site also has a glossary, so you can look up technical stuff. it's awesome, check it out.
PHONE SCOOP.COM (put the two words together, it wouldn't let me do it here) I know everybody will want to thank me, so i'll just say Your Welcome now.
@bwonedotcom HI umm i was wondering did u get this phone without ur upgrade and if so how much did it cost because im wondering how much it might be. Because they said its 200$ but i dont know if thats with or withour upgrade.
I love this phone and i love it even more cause it´s made in South Korea. Unlike most of the phones and electronics that are made in china....where else. I stop using my Motorola Atrix and I´ve been with the Infuse for the last week or so, and I just love it. Its got a wonderful battery life, beautiful screen. I mean, I can´t say enough about this phone. You don´t really need a dual core, besides the battery on the dual core sucks balls.
@Babugee9 If i were you, I would get the Infuse. I have both and I´m no longer using the Atrix cause i have issues even downloading updates on the different applications that I have. I know the Atrix is dual core and everything, but the Infuse is a better phone by far.
@hanspotato22 Actually accessories are determined by the carrier. Most of the time they take out what the manufacturers included to sell separate. As an example this happens to Nokia phones all the time. IF you get it outside the carrier it comes with everything including HDMI if you get it with a carrier that has one it doesn't come with anything but the basic.
@RCtennis3811 When running the app it kept bouncing back between NYC and Boston servers for some reason I coudln't predict which one it would stay on. AT&T's 4G just has issues they need to correct quickly
@nanchen242 I'm not measure by hours but buy real world usage. I used the phone as any other person would use it and I got up to max 2 days before I needed to charge it up with moderate use. As mentioned in my review for a heavy user your probably looking at about 1 day to 1.5 days max
@bwonedotcom I've been using my Infuse with heavy use (internet, running multiple apps, angry birds, messaging, wifi enabled, gps enabled, etc) and I can only get about 5 good hours out of it. Since then I have downloaded juicedefender and lowered my screen brightness to the lowest setting (unless I'm outside because then you can't see the screen). Now I'm able to get more life out of my battery
Great phone but some of the things about battery life is bull

"thumbs up for AT&T and SAMSUNG for that?"
Are you serious? thumbs up for SAMSUNG not on AT&T.
For sure when AT&T found out SAMSUNG included the HDMI cable, they said
"OH MEN why did samsung include the cable when we can sell it for another $50 lmao

Have you found a way to delete the bloatware without rooting the phone? I was hoping to remove some of the stuff such as yellowpages.
