I've been a few professionals who all diagnose me with a straight lumbar section. I have no bending in that area and I have horrible sciatica. Do you have any tips or recommendations?
Hopefully, your doctors have ordered a full diagnostic work-up which may include a lumbar MRI scan. The straight lumbar spine could be a symptom of spasm and is not diagnostic. Scrutinize your relaxation posture. Is your L/S region supported properly? Scrutinize lifting technique too.
My doctor didn't seem to think it was necessary. I've been seeing an osteopath with some results. I think it might be a posterior pelvic tilt that caused a flat lumbar section. Hopefully it gets better.
