In this poem, Nicki Minaj is representing an entire generation of young women aspiring to be actresses, singers, and rappers. I lived in a primarily black neighborhood, went to school in what is known as "the ghetto" My female classmates aspired to be singers, models... where are the doctors and lawyers?

I think we all should realize that perhaps this poem is a figurative representation of Nicki, and poems are subjective to those who listen to them. In this poem, Nicki Minaj is representing an entire generation of young women aspiring to be actresses, singers, and rappers. I lived in a primarily black neighborhood, went to school in what is known as "the ghetto" My female classmates aspired to be singers, models... where are the doctors and lawyers?

Also it doesn't matter how the tumor originated, they target that specific area through radiation, nutrition, chemo etc. in effort to obliterate the problem.
