cool man im from newcastle seriously wanting to get the same mac for the first year of university at nottingham trent. i already have a 24" imac but feel as a photographer studying i think a macbook pro will be vital. However, would you advise me buying a new macbook pro 15" with student discount or buy a refurbished one on the online apple uk store.> i did get my imac from the refurbished store and has been brilliant . Oh also have never been to the new newcastle apple store is it any good.

hey, this is the 2009 version, i bought im earlier this week and its beautiful. it came with 4gb ram as standard. the battery lasts 6-7 hours ish depending on what you are doing. if you compair this to windows laptops which would be 2-3 hours for the same job.

Just out of interest, why did you have to hand in your old laptop? At some point in the video you mentioned that you had to do that, did you get a trade-in deal or something? Just I have a black 13" MacBook and it's screwed up, so I'm gonna try get it replaced, but if not I might settle (reluctantly) for a trade-in deal. Looks good though, congrats, I'd say you're thrilled with it!
