I checked the weather report!!" and I think the exact same thing....umm....yeah it's Seattle, yes chances are very likely it did rain when he died... I'm actually 90% certain the lyrics of this song were kind of a dark nod to his hometown, because most folks around here seem to view that line as if it were some kind of an inside joke. Yeah no shit it's gunna rain....is it Tuesday? :-)

Probably the coolest Guitar part ever to use a Cry Baby wah pedal,,,EVER. I used to play music with these guys way back in the day in Renton and Seattle. Used to blow the hell out of the Central  Tavern downtown. Very kool katz. Love the new vocalist but there will never be another Layne. love from all of us ole kids .R.I.P. bud.
