  • what the name of the movie.

  • This movie is amazing in this fight the two main things I have to say are...

    1. Uh yeh I dont think you can lean back that far while moving.

    2. Jet Li sheaths his sword awesome the second he finishes.

  • Very ancient looking - this is magic!

  • Flying snow does look abit Japanese though :P

  • @Docterphilly Maggie Cheung? Japanese? She looks stereotypically....well, she's Cantonese. So I guess there is a little difference between her looks wise and the rest of the actors, who are northerners. Tony Leung (Broken Sword) is also Cantonese.

  • @rado2020 come on man you cut the vid to early when she dies, best part is that drifty feel when "no name" is in deep thought with that music playing.. at least you had her gracefully falling to the ground!

  • Such a woman fights willingly to her own death... One of the best scenes of the movie, I really enjoy it.

  • the only thing i dislike most of the fights in this movie was the slow-motion thing.

i never like the Matrix slow-motion style.

Jet Li older movies fights were way better.

example, watch FIst of Legend, bestest Jet Li fight movie.

  • . . . grrr, where is the scene where Flying Snow and Broken Sword are moving through the beaded curtains!?

  • so sad. :(

  • The fight with Donnie Yen was my fave as was the one on the lake. The visuals speak a language we all understand so it doesn't really matter about the language barrier.

I went to see this in the cinema back in 2002 and two and found adjusting to the subtitles was a lot easier and the visuals were just spellbinding and the use of colour for each story is utter genius

  • The Qin army kicks ass

  • omg, "make ur move"

  • "how fast is your sword !!!"

  • she's not dead, dammit. just appreciate the beauty of the movie, please

  • should have used lightsabers

  • Use lightsabers so they can look like a couple of dumb white toddlers on the playground? No thanks....

    Silly Star Wars fanboy.

  • in 1992 she wouldve been ripped apart

  • Hmmm. In 2090 she would have been de-atomised.

  • how did she die? no blood no wound? wut?

  • why are the japs so good at movie making ??

  • this is a very classical Chinese martial movie. None of them are japs! this masterpiece including everyone in the movie is completely done by Chinese. get some eye drops, dude!

  • @eroseliu

chill out with your racism dude. we live in the 21st century - WW2 was half a century ago.

  • @Intranetusa I like racism, SO?

  • this movie is sick how they defy the laws of gravity. It's like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon but smarter a little onhow they tried to kill the Emperor.

  • i notice on this movie the color is their emotions

  • Wise observation.

  • yes well its true on how there face expressions are

  • Dang she's beautiful.

  • Best movie ever.

  • that part when he sheathes his sword in his scabbard on his back is nice...

  • @Intranetusa is there a tutorial to do that ?

  • @rikimaru342

No idea...it just reminded me of Link from Zelda the way he sheathes his sword like that... :D

  • I love the colours and the way the costumes swirl.I love also the graceful movements and the way the actors almost dance as they fight.

These films are just so beautiful to watch, you can't tear yourself away.

  • Maggie what's her butt is not pretty at all, Jet Li's hair is awesome and stop smacking each other on the helmets with spears!

  • They planned out her fall after being stabbed really well. It was so graceful and swirling, it didn't look awkward at all.

  • lol. she gets hit, pauses to talk, then proceeds with the dramatic spiraling fall.

  • go watch some hollywood movie

  • wiiiickeeed

  • when he puts in the sword it's in reverse motion. btw the movie was great

  • I suspected it was. lol That looked just too perfect to be real.

  • Unbelievable movie the emotions were brilliant , the cinematography was brilliant the story was brilliant, in short it was absolutely brilliant.

  • bello. perfecta la escena del lago.

  • She is so beautiful...

  • This is my favorite from yet Li

  • I really liked the scene where Broken Sword fights with Nameless on the lake.

  • Jet Li's a beast!

  • where's the fucken blood?

  • incredible cinematography.

  • mir gefällt "flying snow's" kampfstil übelst, mit den vielen drehungen und dan nooch diese wehenden ärmel dazu, des is hamma

  • pull ur sword? lmao

    These subtitles are freakin hilarious

  • lol "dramatic fall"

  • Yeah, I don't like it either.

  • With your statment you declare that you have absolutely no idea what the film and the scene is about. But i dont expect from a 14 year old guy to understand this great masterpiece. Go watch some soaps...

  • wait, why are these subtitles different?

  • This is a great scene, but who the hell put the subtitles in? They're so inaccurate it's not funny.

  • Not that inaccurate. I've seen worse. Far worse.

  • Me too I guess. The "How fast is your sword !!!" made me shudder though.

  • probably just hasty syntax, suppose to be how fast your sword is

  • I have the DVD and it's swift, not fast

  • the coordinator is fucking genius!!!

  • i rate it 10/10 and the andmovie was awesome

  • This is one of my very favorites movies of last China times. I think I like it way more than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

  • I agree with you crouching tiger was outstanding but this film is an incredible movie experiance. Beatiful

  • great martial art film! the americans need to learn from the Chinese.

  • "Not to mention how to run a government! ;) "

    hmm.. really?

  • how to run a government?

plz dont be so ignorant. Do you know anything about the CCP and how its operated? If not, su.

  • and by that i don't mean CCP is good.

I mean its bad, its poison. And the ppl have absolely no choice but to put up with it.

  • then why is their economy rivaling germany and america's? Stop repeating shit you see on tv years ago to make yourself sound intelligent ok?

  • WTF! Few americans know how to do them!

  • yeah you talk like americans are geniuses at making war movies. let me tell you why, because you idiots are busybodies getting into everybody's war. duh.

  • So where you from, mate?

  • I love how the brief break between the 2, with Wuming (nameless) 's hair flying in the wind, that was a great pose!!! Beautiful colors, the art, the music, everything. (Doumo Arigatou for sharing!!)

  • Amazing :)
