My prediction is that the Orange Bowl will have the lowest TV ratings in the event's history. If I'm an Orange Bowl committee member, I'm secretly hating the fact that my game is stuck with the Big East and ACC champ. You talk about two conferences that were made for each other. Jeez.

Are clemson fans in here really bragging after getting dominated, that they are A C C champs? If you win the acc you shouldnt even get a fucking trophy thats how much of a joke it is. Lets look at the SEC, SHALLLLL WE? top teams: lsu, alabama, arkansas, south carolina, georgia. That is 5 teams that clemson wouldnt even come close to in that conference, maybe even more like auburn or florida?
Big ten? MSU, wisconsin, nebraska, michigan, and POSSIBLY osu and psu.. all better than clemson.

@paulcorn22 now ill look at weaker conferences and clemson should be higher up towards #1 right? big 12: OSU Baylor Oklahoma and maybeeee kansas st? Ok now PAC 12- Oregon, USC, stanford. ALL significantly better. Now lets look at the other worlds worst conference, the big east: WVU is the only team good as or better than clemson. So if clemson stays in acc or wvu, they can keep pillin up these what i like to call "shit stats" cus they are good stats, but against SHIT.

Getting Sicker and Sicker of the Whole Oh were in the orange bowl thing sorry but that means nothing to anyone. Ok clemson gets to play yet another virgina team that you could put in the same leauge as Southern Miss or Troy this will be the most disappointing Orange Bowl that the bcs has ever seen. The gamecocks Are going to bring the real excitement to Flordia theres no doubt.

I've lived in Columbus OH, Harrisburg PA, Denver CO and Greenville SC. And no city I've ever been in outside of SC talks about Clemson USC as a must watch rivalry game. Carolina-Clemson is the 3rd longest UNINTERRUPTED rivalry game in the country and the longest in the south, having been played 103 straight years since 1909. As for overall number of games played, we would have 115 games played, instead of 109, had we not stopped playing in the years of 1903-1908. The reason the game was stopped for those years was due to full scale riots breaking out after the game in 1902.

@mmartin088 Within the riots, Clemson students marched with bayonets drawn (they were a military institute at that time) onto USC's campus. As they approached the Horseshoe, many USC students gathered behind the Horseshoe wall with pistol's and clubs ready for the approaching Clemson students. However, USC officials were able to interrupt and talk down the proceedings before an all out battle broke loose. In 2004, we had one of the ugliest and longest brawls seen in awhile. Intense Rivalry!

@mmartin088 Fact Check: The Carolina/Clemson rivalry didn't just start up the first time we played each other. It started in the 1880s and intensified when Clemson broke away in 1889. Rivalry games have become a means of being able to brag about your team/school being better, but a true rivalry is more than just that. Just because our rivalry isn't as well known as others doesn't make it less of one. And if you lived in SC then you'd know we don't talk about those rivalries either.
