  • That poping sound as a message appears makes me think is my computer giving me a waring? Nope, it's just your video.

  • cool

  • This was awsome, you need to tell me how you made the frankenstein thing, that was awsome.

  • Oh! And how long did it take you to get/make this much stuff? Or was your display always this FREAKIN' huge and awesome? I'm just in awe of everything.

  • Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

We started with the major display about 15 years ago and try to add one major new element each year. We've already started for 2007, though we consider Labor Day to be "Opening Day" for decorating. That's when we cart all the stuff out of storage (I rent a 17" U-Haul to transport it all!) and start decorating the house and back yard. We don't start on the front yard until October 1.

  • That's awesome! I would love to live in your neighborhood. haha. We only get about 10 trick-or-treaters every year, and I'm the only one who really decorates. Kind of sad.

  • If you build it they will come! When we first started, we had just a few. Now we get hundreds of Trick-or-Treaters. They drive to our neighborhood just for our house! It's a TON of fun to see how much the kids enjoy it!

  • This is amazing. I wish I knew how to make my own animated Halloween props.

  • You can find all kinds of info on the Internet. The best place to start is the Monster List of Halloween Projects. Search Google for "Monster List," you'll find it.
