This firefly is huge, while in our local area, only have ones that half of them. :) very small and round looks with little light. :)

when I was a kid, like 7-9 years old, the only time I see these buggers was at the cemetery, which my friends and I like to play around there at night. So whenever I see these guys, I keep associating them with death....but that's just superstition.

Its an orb weaver. My dad and I would go out at night in between the trees and look for them They build their webs wide, spanning between the trees, and they are easy to walk into--which many spiders do this--but these are big and scary to have crawling on you. Nevertheless, even at my apartment I had one living in the upper outside door of my apartment. A big one. I would just walk under his web and let him be. My neighbor killed it :(
