problem: when i hit "push to talk" button. sound from my pc is going to SL. how do i make it to where i talk into my mic and it goes to SL. cuz just pc sound goes to SL.

Voice chat completely spoils Second Life. I hope it never becomes commonplace. It means that females can't impersonate males and vice versa. That is one of the cool things about Second Life, that anyone could be anyone.

Yes, headsets with built in mic's are very cheap now, you can get a good one for about 20 to 30 bucks.
