A man is responsible for his OWN actions. Obama has never said anything that would be deemed racist towards white people. Being president isn't just about having a set of policies to blindly implement on Day 1 though. It's about having the judgement and the character to respond to events as they happen. George Bush's presidency was totally changed by 9/11 for instance.

@sdbmedia I would contend that for the most part being president IS about your policies;it is what you are judged by. You say you don't want to elect someone who's a liar, well that rules out Hillary Clinton for a start, who has told a plethora of lies throughout the democratic nominee campaign, not least her claim that her daughter and herself had to "dodge" sniper fire in Bosnia during 1996. As for judgement, Bush and Clinton have shown bad judgement by voting for a war on Iraq.
