  • Can you do this in an automatic?

  • practice practice practice and practice...then go out and buy a new set of tires. money money money and money.

  • I don't see why people need teaching this. It's really easy and obvious if you have any idea how a cars controls work.

  • I'm surprised by his vehicle of choice, a Mitsubishi Colt.

  • but wouldn't this leave flat spot on your tires?

  • @twintipskis360 LOL no shit i think this is only for fun.

  • Could this be done in an automatic?

  • @MrTheguitargod no it couldn't due to you needing use to handbrake to get the right amount of friction

  • @MrTheguitargod yeah you can, just wont be as cool lol

  • pity he comes to a full stop, so the effect of the handbrake for a fast turn is almost zero, make sure you always maintain a bit of speed to accelerate faster out of the turn

  • would my subaru outback wagon overturn by doing it?

  • @GogiRB

    hahah no

  • @GogiRB I tried in my N/A Subaru Forester, didin't work. The outback does it well on gravel though, done it in a mates.

  • Those are really bad turns.

  • i stalled an automatic car doing this...

  • link to full vid?

  • i nearly wrote my car off last night doing this and was my hand was trembeling for 1 hour, was an adrenaline rush though.

  • @xXshamm3rsXx pussy

  • is it totally safe to do this on asphalt? there's no risk for the car to flip if you have too much speed?

  • @jonte0808 unless your driving a jeep no

  • @jonte0808 yep safe in a car unless your doing like 50mph but stay in second and no problems

  • so much fun man

  • Is he implying that you have to be in first gear to do the maneuver

  • @steeleye55 no just need to be in first gear to pull away after..

  • @steeleye55 I would have thought so, if you are going the full 180 the car will practically be stationary after the full 180 degrees so you would probably stall if you were in 2nd gear...plus, if you have just performed this, you wouldn't want to cruise away at 2nd gear speeds, you would want the pull of 1st gear!

  • id like to add to this video.....a favourite of rally drivers, stunt drivers and 17 year olds..

  • @IANBUFFTON Hell yeah.

  • @IANBUFFTON yea im 17 and just did this and looked it up cuz im bored and dnt feel like doing my hw! hahahaha

  • @partyguy9 snap

  • Learned how to do this in my car from the video, good fun :)

  • how much speed do you need????

  • @kortedfranela just be in second gear and like enough speed about 20 mph i guess

  • Nice trick and well explained

  • @whitey8207 don't be a retard it's called a handbrake turn for a reason u don't use the brake.

  • can you just pull then handbrake and then release it after you turn around?

  • also they 4got 2 say u need 2 use ur foot brake aswell 2 keep the front end still if u dnt u will carry on and wont be able 2 pull it off

  • when
