But to start, it sounds like he is playing his guitar to at least 4 separate tracks, each with different settings. try to pipe your signal (like in several protools tracks) into 4 channels. pan 2 of them to the left, and then pan 2 of them to the right. that will sound more like this video. then after that do a high pass filter on the right channels and a low pass filter on the other two channels. if that doesnt work, let me know.

@BossAznMusician They aren't really same thing. Guitar Rig is used to play different guitar sounds while Garage band records tracks. You can play guitar through Garage band but it doesn't really compare to Guitar Rig. In fact, it would be better to use both; play guitar through Guitar Rig and record it in Garage band through a plug in.

@LJANM1 if your using it without an interface you should get asio 4 all and in the guitar rig routiing be sure to set line/mic in as your input and since guitars naturally send out mono signals, guitar rig has the thing at the top for left or right select right and turn off left. that should work

@Budalanakub There's a pitch module... but I would personally change my tunings. Any pitch changing done through software is not great unless you use a quality, dedicated program like Melodyne
