Disappear Here Widescreen edition out! Masterpiece! (Empire Orchestral version, Salt Acoustic version, Break My Soul Transmigration Mix, Can You Hear Me Eclectro mix...).
I must say every song Hybrid does proves they are more than just mainstream muscians but the coposers of the 21st century,Bach and Beetoven of the electronic age.
arggggghhh....I cannot wait for Disappear Here. since being introduced to Hybrid many years ago, I have been hooked ever since. like some of the comments mentioned here, their music moves me in ways I cannot describe. epic, brooding, driving, beautiful, I could go on. I love Hybrid so much and am so glad to have discovered their music in my life. my mum is a huge fan too and is always asking "when's the new Hybrid album out?!". she's 58. keep dreaming your dreams guys.
I know dude! Hybrid are just way beyond everyone else! I listen to a lot of different stuff, but eventually you become tired and lose interest. Hybrid just doesnt work that way, it seems like I can never run tired of it. There's always something by Hybrid that keeps me "addicted" =)
I was floored when I discovered their music (I first heard 'Just for Today'). I have purchased as much of their music as I can up to this point, and I can safely say they have not released a single song or mix that I have not liked or loved.
Dark, brooding, cinematic, beautiful and moving... keep it up, guys!
every single time they bring a new album, it blows my mind,,wide angel started the hybrid sound and they have stuck to it but kept everything so original, go on boys! (and new girl)
I've been a massive fan of these guys since "Finished Symphony" and "If I Survive" and "Snyper" has to be one of the best tracks i have eber heard!! Still so fresh and emotional even now. March 29th cannot come round quick enough for me......i feel like a kid at christmas!!
OH this better than porn for me, this has my heart racing faster than any love i've felt before. I AM SO READY FOR THIS ALBUM, ILL WEEP EVERY DAY UNTIL I GET IT.
@muucest so caught up about the intricaies of a clip, the vocals what? nah mate, you're wrong, 200 - 20,000 people watching would disagree...this ain't pop idol, this ain't x-factor...guranteee they're in key so its just your personal opinion, they're not awful, you just don't like em.....20,000 people at festival would also disagree....tell me, who would you have used for the vocal instead...and could you guarantee it wouldn't sound like hybrid, producing a pop act?
If you read my comments you would understand that I'm not saying the singer is bad. I just don't like vocals like that in general on that track, no matter who's singing.
While I do not find the vocals "god-awful", I do think the Hybrid tracks without vocals are often the best. Then again, "If I Survive" was terrific.
I hope Charlotte gets the opportunity to sing aggressively. I think that singing style, mixed with her smoother, jazzy style would work well with Hyrbrid.
I just hope I can get my hands on the tracks as instrumentals, beside 'wide angle' most of the lyrics and singers could be replaced with farm animals and you would have a hard time recognizing the difference. ditch the moaning nonsense its rooting a great sound!
Mike Truman and Chris Healings are 100% music geniuses! They've been my favorite since wide angle :D Obveously got off to a GREAT start then. I don't know if I'm ready to favorite yet another Hybrid track after Finished Symphony - too much! :)
As a raver, a journalist, a DJ and as a producer, i am so glad to hear that they're only back with another album.....but that the sound is as prolific as it has ever been. I know grown men who are brought to tears by the Hybrid sound.....judging by this, i fear a box of hankies and several evenings getting banjoed in the banjax on what knows what are instore.....at last, some music with raw emotion...but then again, who else were you going to rely on for this kind of feeling! Can't Fucking Wait!
@snipermalliki yeah believe, we do night sin UK for around 200 -300 people that still love that shybrid sound and many other artist...the shit i'm reading on here about the vocal is pure garbage....
@snipermalliki have u listened to your mix downs? ever heard of a melodine/melodyne?.....and Clint Mansell, you gunning for SKY TV ads? i'd go check your own house out before calling someones work garbage.....you're not excatly tidy. I could play you some of my work...chances are you've already downloaded and plaguerised my work at some point. Anyway mate, i'll see you in Miami shall i? thank god your ticket isn't based on record sales!" peace!
I was referring to the comment about the vocals being garbage btw. That had nothing to do about the actual song. Anyhow, thanks for showing me u'r the best at what you do in the whole wide world and I don't even know u'r so called work so I don't think I "plagiarized" any thing you ever did.
@snipermalliki apologies dude....i'm reading that as a insult, so i take you're not. And yes i am the best in the world at what i do, considering i myself produce my own work...i don't get anyone else to help me reach publishable standards....which by my counting would make 12 tracks, played by a number of top progressive & tech -house dj's. Unlike you though, i hide the fact that blantantly ripped off a number of cinema scores. I bet you have at least 2 of my records in your collection mate!
prolly, maybe, i dunno...life is too short...100 years from now people wont really care who was professional from novice. I do what i do, u do what u do. whats u'r studio name anyways?
@snipermalliki@adcleavy no way bro....i'm almost ashamed of my previous releases.....won't fin em youtube thats for sure.....they were on a few here today gone tomorrow labels....probably for signing over cinematic artists....as i was then....now i leave it to the professionals....and have some new dubstep releases out in march.....will keep you posted when the masters out, see if you can spot the samples! lol
I sense a crest in a sine wave only after their first album wide(r) angle in 1999. The trough in my opinion was Morning Sci Fi. Although I listen to 'higher than skyscraper' even today while driving back home among Finished Symphony, Just for today, All I Want, Until Tomorrow, Formula of Fear... and 178 songs/remixes of Hybrid... can't wait to add Break my soul to it!
No album has been as hard hitting as Wide Angle yet but Hybrid is an experimental band that has been refining their sound to what they have found works best over the course of 15+ years. As the elements of this video show, Disappear Here is going to be an incredible journey into sound and rhythm.
Hybrid has, is, and until they stop, will continue to be one the greatest composing forces in modern symphonic and electronic music. Hell in music in general. Their movements always grandly sculpted audio landscapes that carry amazing resonance and force of emotion. Whether you like all their music or not you can't deny that. They do some of the best remixes and score work.
I enjoyed "I Choose Noise". "I Choose Noise" and "Keep it in the Family" are among my favorite songs of all time. "Just for Today" and "Dream Stalker" were excellent - the end of "Dream Stalker" is so much of fun, with the surprising African drums and complex arrangements. I could not get "Dogstar", however. I will buy their new album as soon as I can.
to be honest, Hybrid have been on rocky ground since Morning Sci-Fi. Around that time their studio got broken into and lots (pretty much everything) of equipment and data got stolen, so they have been gettin back on track since then.
I have a feeling that this 4th album will have more impact than the last two, which I felt were like "filler" albums before something big (i.e. this album coming).
i just think that after theme from a wide angle morning sci-fi and i choose noise were not all that great, dont get me wrong i love hybrid, symphony was one of the best tracks of the 90's and the other 2 albums have stand out tracks but as a whole i just never thought they worked. i may just be being harsh because i loved every track from wide angle and i suppose i may be being a bit critical. not many bands 2nd or 3rd albums top the 1st, but the 4th sounds like its shaping up well.

Wow, those vocals are god-awful. I'm not even joking. I love the stuff Hybrid makes but they should really stick to "Just for today" kind of vocals.
I hope there will be instrumental version of this track. Sorry.
