  • ok im here to say ont thing GET`ER DONE WITH WINDOWS XP!!!

  • Next days i get the U820 with xp tablet edition. Question is if it is worth the effort to change to Windows 7 from the point of performance?

    Best regards

    JJ

  • 15:44 "bringing up XP again.. er sorry Windows Vista", I thought it had windows7? Which is it?

  • pretty epic

  • how the fck am i going to carry this in my pocket?!?

i would really like to trow my money away on one of this things, but i can't find any kind of use for it....i'm in college and if i need a pc, i just carry 15' laptop in my awesome expensive backpack

  • He means it is handy and your teacher won't hear the clicking of the keys! (If you use it in tablet mode)

  • It's perfect as supplementary device if you want take notes in onenote/evernote and keep them tidy in your pocket - and sync them with your main computer at home.

  • its made for Babies

  • Go its not.

  • Everything is getting smaller... I don't like it... Screens should at least be 15" IMHO or you cannot see anything...

  • It's a UMPC, its meant to be small.

  • Yes, yes. I know. :) BUT I always wonder how people do use computers with so small displays. Don't think I'm a old man or something. I'm a 18 year old technic freak... I once had a 12" netbook and it was waaaay to small for me. :D

  • 12 inches is as small as i'd go

  • Yeah... Right. I have a 9 inch netbook. Actually, I am typing on it right now. Fantastic! 12 inch netbook? A netbook is 11 inches and under. So you had a NOTEBOOK. And you call yourself a geek...

  • I am a geek. :-P

Well, my comment was not meant bad in any way. I just don't like things with tiny screens. :) I need something you can actually WORK with. Not just browsing and things like that. I want space on my screen for developing applications, browsing, chatting, whatever.

That's why I don't like the "omg, it's so small and cute" trend.

  • I did not buy it for being cute. It has a 1.6 ghz processor 1 GB of Ram, 160 gb hard disk, vga out, and a 6 hour battery. I have developed Applications on it, and I am using it as a robotics platform. I know it can be used for much more with a 1.6ghz Intel processor, one of its main selling points is browsing, chatting, skyping, etc

It is 9 inches and not tiny. It might take 3 minutes of getting used to. I use it more then my main desktop. I am buying a U280 soon. Even smaller.

  • You sure are an ungeeky geek. Who ever said you were a geek... :) I know you have potential, but you have to adapt to the current technology. Netbooks are the future.

  • I LOVE small Pc's and UMPCs, the smaller the better! I still prefer desktops for serious use though as it's more comfortable.

  • You cant carry a 15 inch screen in your pocket thats the point.

  • You can't carry that in your pocket either! (Unless you have big pockets. Maybe a purse or something, but I don't carry a purse. :P)

  • how much do you pay for this one?

  • I love you Chippy~~~~ I think I will buy thisssssss instead of the viliv, I just love the design... and it Looks great. If I asked you to test a game on it could you? I could give you the game and everything.

  • lol.

  • LOL

  • What is so funny? >.> Anyway. Nevermind. I ended up buyin the device seeing how the OQO 2+ will never be and I am actually glad OQO went out of bussiness. I love the super high resolution and so many features it has over the OQO. Beside that. I got a lot of things working you did not with Vista. I have Youtube fullscreen working. 1080P + 720P working using KMplayer + tweaks + Cyberlink DVD or CoreAVC. Got Warcraft III, PSX emu, DC Emu, plants vs zombies, Osu!, audiosurf, etc working full speed.

  • LOOOOOOOOL!!!!! spaztic!!!
