Brock did good in the cain fight. I did not expect so much from him. But i actually think his striking looked way better than it used to. And he actually started the fight out good and landing some nice punches, and got an early takedown. The problem was that when he started to get hit himself he did not intelligently defend himself. And how Fedor lost lets see he was submitted in the first round when he is supposed to have this legendary guard then he got owned in his own forte ground and pound by Antonio Silva did you see his eye after that fight I'd say that was a pretty devestating loss and also in his fight with Silva he came damn close to being submitted twice. And as for his striking the guy swings for the fences he sucks

@rtztwsdq I disagree, I think he has chance to become like a fedor but I don't think anyone will be on top like fedor for a long time. His striking is not the best, its good but not a top striker, he has a very good chin but I would give jds and roy nelson better chin and down line who knows who shows up. Cain in order to catch up with fedor is lighting fast subs which I think with wrestling would be great and train to have ko power otherwise he has ways to go. still favorite fighter though.

@DamienWar Yea i Do agree with you man, his striking is not as nasty and heavy as Fedor, regarding punches, but he lands solid kicks as well, which Fedor pretty much never landed (except some leg kicks and a head kick against Crocop...)
I think too that is guna be hard to match up with Fedor's long 10 years of domination in the MMA HWT ranks. But if i shud pick up one fighter amongst all these newcomers, I would definetly pick Velasquez no doubts! no others man!!! it's pretty easy to see that.

Junior is probably has the best hands in hw division while overeem most versatile striker with power for hw with his knees and kicks. But I am still waiting to see Overeem take on a guy his skill level again, he defend his titles/won against all guys coming losses now it might just be me but I would at least think they would put him against people that are actual winning maybe on a streak at least.

Brock did good in the cain fight. I did not expect so much from him. But i actually think his striking looked way better than it used to. And he actually started the fight out good and landing some nice punches, and got an early takedown. The problem was that when he started to get hit himself he did not intelligently defend himself. He just crawled up into a corner like like in the carwin fight. He just needs to train more on his defense.
