@2026820 As long as you don't overuse it.. Since, I couldn't play flash from hulu.com through the Prevail browser, I tether it to my netbook and viola, it is playing nicely.. Remember, don't overuse it and don't even try to use it for download big files..

@TheAppleman3000 Be sure your usb cable works and the port you are using (connection slot) is not messed up. If these are not the issue then go to Device manager from control panel and check if your phone is recognized/listed under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. It appears as Samsung Android USB C. D. (or something like that). If it doesn't, uninstall the driver, unplug your device, plug it back in(turn on usb mode on your phone) and let the computer set up the device for you.Hope it helps!

What is the upload and download speed when you ran a speedtest. I have the blackberry curve and was thinking about getting this phone. The tethering on the blackberry is pretty good. In a 3G area I get 1.5 download but don't like the fact that apps are limited.

@messiah361 its a usb tether thats why you need the cord that comes with the phone and the reason why you need the application on your computer is so both devices have the application so they can run coefficient if one doesn't have the app then you cant use internet "without" wifi on your computer on the go. because that is what you tethering dose but this is another video on how to tether for pc just click the link
