@KostaX100 A 60-70mm ball would be best. You have to remember that in five ball juggling, you hand needs to hold back two balls and throw one at the start. For that reason a smaller ball tends to work better.
I think i'll buy the MMX plus. I don't know yet. Since I live in another country I can't taste it. Can someone gimme an idea? About what ball should I buy? I'm looking for a ball easy that is easy to catch and good on high throws. I'm almost buying the MMX plus. Does anyone have any other idea?
hey i'm a beginner and ive recently been juggling MMX+ balls and i found this website that sells DX power balls and i was wondering if you could do a review on that :D
Stage balls are hard on the outside and aren't squishy like bean bags. Hybrid balls look a lot like stage balls, but they are squishy. I have a set of 5 MMX Plus balls and love them! They feel good and are easy to catch. They sort of "stick" to your hands when you catch them, so that helps a lot. As you use them, they start to lose their "stick," but if you wash them, it comes back.
They are definitely good for 7+ ball juggling however, depending on the size of your hands, might pose a problem. Consider the standard MMX Ball in 62mm. They are a bit smaller and might be better for higher numbers.
Lately, I've been wanting to upgrade from my beanbags to some kind of stageball or hybrid. I have no experience with anything other than beanbags and clubs, so I watched this, hoping it would help me choose which one to get. Unfortunately, with each one looking so good, it left me even more indecisive than before!
The ones I'm mostly considering are the SIL-X and the MMX Plus. Does anyone have any suggestions?
(In case this helps at all: My goal is to learn to juggle 5 or more.)
The SIL-X and MMX Ball are both great. The liquind silicone in the SIL-X with allow for Dead Drops and Body Stalls. The MMX simply feel good. It's hard to say what ball is better. Both are very durable.
I just got a set of 7 MMX Plus balls. They are a bit firmer than my old beanbags, but they have replaced them with ease. Get some now!

@BinklePlease I want to get a set just after christmas. I'm a 5/6 ball juggler, so do you think I should get them? My old srx-russians broke

this is a poor review. you should bounce them to show they're individual dead-drop qualities.
acrylichaze 10 months ago
@acrylichaze these aren't made to bounce. they're a combination of a stage-ball and beanbag filled.

The MMX+ ball is great! They sort of "stick" to your hand, making them much easier to juggle.

do the MMX 62mm now have the "invisible plugs" like MMX plus, as in are they different than the mmx balls pictured on the website?
Also, are they really that bright?!
i'll definitely be ordering some soon...

I would also like to find one that is durable.
What are the advantages of the ball being "bottom-heavy"?

Thanks! I bought 5 white MMX Plus balls because they are smaller than the SIL-X. I love them! These are the best juggling balls I have.
