@dwho1994 Apart from the poorly rendered asteroids and that god awful logo, McCoy's title sequence is fantastic and has stood the test of time amazingly well.
@TheOnComingStorm121 McCoy's era seemed outdated even at the time, with the exception of remembrance of the daleks, so I wouldn't say it stood the test of time at all, McCoy was a great doctor, don't get me wrong, but his era was lacking and you can tell the show was on its last legs
@dwho1994 On the contary, apart from season 24 and BITS of 25, the McCoy era was some of the best Who made. Ghost Light, Fenric, Survival, Remembrance (obviously) All stories throwing Doctor Who back to how it used to be, dark, scary and mysterious, just how Doctor Who should be. And while little bits can date it, (The OTT 80's but fantastic Keff incidental music) it's still my favourite era of Who by miles.
@TheOnComingStorm121 I wouldn't say the McCoy era is the worst era, the current Moffat/Smith era is by far the worst era, but I only seem to enjoy remembrance in the McCoy era (and possibly dragonfire) I don't think they used the dark themes to their advantage
@dwho1994 Oh no no no, I'm LOVING Smith / Moffat. It's bringing the magic back to Who that was lost when that talentless idiot RTD got the job. I seriously almost stopped being a fan because of that moron and his lack in scripting abilities.
Moffat: Someone who, when inquired about, is often said to have written the best of Tennant / Eccleston's stories. Someone who's plots twist and turn with wonderful joy and who's scripts have humour and magic.
RTD: Someone who couldn't string a plot together to save his life, someone who wrote a massive problem for the Doctor to solve, writting himself into a dead end, and having to resort to making him Jesus to save the day?
@TheOnComingStorm121 you said Moffat has brought the "magic" back to doctor who, well that must be where we differ, because I don't watch doctor who for "magic", I watch doctor who for science, after all it is a SCIENCE fiction
@dwho1994 Oh trust me, I was talking metaphorical magic. I'm all for science myself, so much so that I can't watch Harry Potter because of it. And while Moffat's series isn't as scientifically accurate as the classics, it's alot more accurate than the crap we got under Davies.
@TheOnComingStorm121 so altering time itself is ok to you is it? because thats all Moffats era seems to be "time can be rewritten" even though it has been common knowledge to any doctor who fan to altering time is strictly forbidden, the concept of time travel in doctor who should be used strictly to get the doctor from A to B not to get some lazy writer out of a situation, because any use of time travel to advance the plot is lazy and cheating.
There seems to be some sort of tiny red smudge on your like bar...

Nice, I still prefer the old one though, there is just something about the Sylvester opening that I adore.
