@sugarsoakermd Ayahuasca actually is a vine - banisteriopsis caapi. Peruvians & some other South Americans call the plant ayahuasca as well as the brew that contains it & other plants. The source of the DMT in an ayahuasca brew varies from region to region. Robin probably had either psychotria viridis and/or diplopterys cabrerana.

Time gives legitimacy to the most idiotic activities. If what Robin did was invented in 2005 than she would've called it horsesh*t. Robin is smart enough to understand religions are man made bs, but yet she's incapable of looking at this reasonably? She's obsessed with getting stuff out of her, and that's why this insane activity appealed to her. She has deep psychological issues and self hatred/shame. @DGoose33 I think she was quite brave for attempting this. I don't think that taking ayahausca is neccessary to connect with your consciousness but it is another avenue. You are throwing the words like "idiotic" and "insane activity" without any real insight into the woman. I'd suggest stop judging and to look up the work of a man named Thomas Campbell.
