how do you do you make such a sachet for the ball? it haves to release at one side? how do you make that?

@PhilosophyAV Its simply a sling that is only attached at one end and when it reaches the right angle the ring slips off and it releases

At it's locked position it's about 7'6''. We've got it to shoot about 125 yards.

When you live in Canada, it gets warm at this time of year and you can wear t-shirts. Do you have a video of your treb?

Me, the one shown at the beginning, and some friends built that trebuchet by scratch this past spring break.
