the guitar solo, the opener, everything makes me think of God playing music from the top of the clouds and earth is the stadium... breathtaking song and awesome one to listen too while driving along a highway with the ocean beside u
This is by far my favorite Devin Townsend song. It's so mellow, yet heavy at the same time. Gorgeous singing and perfect guitar tone. I think a lot of people can relate to this tune and its meaning. It is sometimes hard to believe that this is the same singer from Strapping Young Lad. Two different worlds. "Terria" is a classic album in every sense of the word. Nice video to compliment the song too. The various shots of natural settings are lovely.
I love you guys for all the comments. It's so much satisfaction to me to read that you all feel the same while listening to Dev...just awesome...thank you guys...

God this man is a genius listenng to this made me feel as though I was on another plane - made me cry Terria is an amazing album fom an amazing musician :)
its official this guy is the guy who has been playing the music in my head all along !! what a genius this guy is the lost link in music( when he sings calm i hear rodger waters ) but still what i incredible person , god he is the inspiration in my life=)
@hevyd00d Its actually Devin Townsend Solo Album. With him on guitar Vocal, and programming, and producer, Craig Mcfarland on Bass, and Gene "The Mean Machine" Hoglan on Drums, DTB was from 2 years later. Terria Came out in 2001.
@slayerbloke00 Actually, it's simply Devin Townsend. His solo project took many names over the years, including Devin Townsend, Devin Townsend band and, more recently, Devin Townsend Project.
i feel even the cut off from the middle of his head leaving sepia tone on the right with that tree is meant to signify the difference between that tree and the cardboard treehouse
i have something to say about the full picture you see at 4:19
and you see him kinda wandering out through the terria like he is getting back in
touch with his inner self and to his left is this cardboard treehouse that almost represents him getting back in to his childhood thoughts and feelings
however those memories are vague and distant, fragile and fleeting
he see's how disposable his life is just like cardboard.
"In September 2008, he announced that he planned to begin recording "in the next 2 months", retreating to northern Canada to work on the album, with the possibility of "a show or two" in the coming months"
3:55, does anyone know where that is???
