how do you establish your self in a small engine mechanic business? I would love to do it for a little while but have no idea how you would get people to just bring there stuff in to repair, did you put an advert in the paper or something
@MO3MINI Bascally what i did is put a ad on craigslist which is a free internet selling and advertising network here, and from there i got a bunch of buisness. Once you get enough customers its pretty much word of mouth. Get buisness cards too and just pass them out, and if you have a shop out of your garage you might get a few neighbors and visitors that will bring you something to repair. I get alot of buisness especially over the summer and i got alot of free mowers and stuff to fix and sell.

@MO3MINI you can put a ad in the phone book put ads out on the internet and gave famly and frends a bissness card so thay can give them to the frends
