i've listen to the whole album, and i didn't expect new stuffs. i think the only goofy song is "four seconds". summertime and on the lookout still has little goofiness in it, but the timbre is just isn't goofy without the thick voice of steve and the fast rhymes of ed. most songs sounded more like alternative rock, some sounded really weird with really unexpected chords and dark colors, some sounded country because of the acoustic. but overall, i commend bnl for being bold to take new direction
