i have been looking on like 20 djs on youtube now and all suck... to be a good dj you have to do more than just fade in and fade out and you need to show some energy!

you did more than just fade and you have alot of energy while mixing !

It's not the equipment that matters, it's the dj son.

its mainly the mixer that is doing all the effects... aswell as the dj, knowing all the effetcs and using them correctly... he's only using the cdj's to sync the beats together and from one to the other etc..... as long as youve got the musical (dj) tallent in you, you can make a good mix from anything!

Owkey, so (I'm trying to understand, btw, I'm the same person as musicboyxiii) when you move your fader that fast is to make sure one perticular sound won't come true, right?

And on the right side are the effects (maybe flanger or something) The only thing I don't get is what you're doing on the left hand side (on the DJM-700 is that part for phones, but i'm not sure what it does on the DJM-400 (wich I think you're using))
