As far as I kno, the father of the Gospel music, Thomas A. Dorsey also began his music career with classical music and from this roots and the blues, he created later the style of Gospel. So, I think, you can find God, His creativity and beauty in this piece of music, too, it is not boring but wonderful. Listening to just one type of music all the time.. now that is boring. God is never :D.

Oh my goodness, I have had to search youtube for a very long time to find a version of this song that isn't too slow, that isnt performed by someone who really shouldn't be singing the song, and that has EMOTION to it!!
