You can still cut out the 'block' that they put in. The board behind is the same. IDK why they put the block there. I use 8gb cards in mine. the battery is very good...2gb isnt enough!

Getting rid of the Micro SD card option is a major step backwards. Before you can use whatever size SD card you want up to 8GB. The faster the card the smoother the video.

exactualy what i was going to say. just blocked up the card slot, i bet theres a card behind that cover and its $20 more expencive.. stupid really.. Good camera tho, on ebay for £13 $20 ish..
