Hes right about everything looks more cartoony even all my friends say this and I think this is because its the last game when the war ends so it doesnt need to be dark and gritty like the other games and that they are targeting a more casual audience than past games.

I mean look at the classic characters in Gears 3, they look sooo different.

I just realized, In Gears 1 and 2 , around the steps of each side and the whole place actually, the walls are concrete and have tiers of pillars.

In Gears 3, Its Brick. I think Gears 1 and 2 look better environmentally too.

I couldnt play gears 1 anymore because their isnt a ALT. BUTTON SCHEME and i switched to it when gears 2 came out and cant go back to the default.

@82PeRK It's just called different lighting, not cartoonish. And besides, not everyone is perfect.

They made it light and smooth so it looks more cartoony than previous games.

Love how not only are they all differently aged, but they're all at different times of day too.

@TehSl1m3 What I love is the improvements to the lighting. Notice how Gears 1 has a lot of very dark and very light spots, then Gears 2 has more diffused lighting, and finally Gears 3 adds better shadows.

@Abdullahkhan93 Thanks. I didn't want it to be a boring walkthrough, so I added some killing :D I finish faster in Gears 3 because I started farther up the spawn, and by then I had the pattern memorized so well I could do it very quickly.
