When I first saw the recurrent ad on TV I googled them and didnt find any bad reviews about them! and then AFTER I bought them, I found out that they are a scam.. A BIG SCAM!! I didnt use any of them, I just bought them today, and wont use any bcuz they simply dont detox anything! I suspected that from the beginning but I love to try things, so I ordered them! I wish I didnt!! ehe ehe ehe (crying without tears)
The pads contain wood vinegar, which react to nearly any form of moisture and turns the pad brown. As for the cholesterol levels, they went down over a period of weeks being in a controlled health study which included changes in diet (overnight fasting, anyone?). Sorry, but you can't point to the patch as doing anything if you are purposely varying other factors known to affect cholesterol and blood pressure. Pseudo-scientific fail, 100%
There are no publicly published findings for these products. The only proof they work at all is this commercial. Buy some, put regular water on them and watch them change color, but it does look a little more impressive if you use sweat. The are a fake, a scam, try them for yourself if you want, but it doesn't to anything. If you really want to detox, try drinking the daily amount of suggested water and nothing else for a week, eating only fruit, vegetables, and unprocessed meats. No sugars.
I'm wearing some detox foot patches right now. This is my second day. The ingredients include "tourmaline" which is some kind of crystal. The first time I applied them, I had a serious tingling sensation for a couple hours. I can't be certain, but, I think there might be some kind of stimulant that is leeching into my skin. I've applied them based on the accupressure chart to hit major organs. (I don't think these pads were made for American feet. They're really small on my size 9 1/2 feet.)
Go check these kenrico research & support pages. I don't know, they look japanese original, have as many clinical trials as Johnson&Johnson. There's doubleblind trial for us skeptics. Sigh, if we skeptics know our body so well and our doctors are so dang smart then we wouldn't get sick and get hospitalized. I think these really work, so I will give them a try. I just wish I know where to get them in Montana. Heck I'll try anything that lowers my HMO bill.
If nicotine patches work via skin, why this patch does not? Nicotine patch is NOT herbal so FDA approves it. FDA will never approve remedies because it's alternative and FDA needs tax money from these pharmaceutical companies. All I can say is, be careful of cheap imitations. As much as I hate to say this, real pads work. Real pads draw junks out, just as your body spits out urine, stools. I always get real pad because a pad under 60 cents $ is, well, caveat emptor. A penny for your thoughts.
Excellent observations. There are imitation, so be wise when selecting them. Genuine pad has real formula and cost at least 60 to 70 cents. I would not touch anything that cost below that. I can attest that this kenrico made pads are genuine.
Lack of gullibility is not ignorance. This thing does Nothing for you physically, you might THINK it works, but the placebo affect is documented and works. But you could save a lot of money by buying a box of maxi pads, soaking em in green tea, letting them dry, THEM strapping em to your feet. But by all means keep buying these, one day i might figure out a way to seperate a fool and his money and i would hate to have you all wake up and be able to smell snake oil.
I love these patches,whenever i use them i wake up full of energy and happy.I dont really believe in the color change, but it does work for me amazingly
Just like a lemming U R trying to lead others with your ignorance. But U as your username implies simply follow other ignorant people that R as you true non believers in anything that you are not told good for you by the big pharma companies and their puppets in the FTC and FDA! Keep on keeping on my friend and follow the ignorant ones over a health crisis cliff!
I'm not paid off by the FDA, just not stupid. Your LIVER detoxifys your body, not an herbal tampon you strap to yourself. Yes, you people are strapping on an herbal tampon, feel better?
i soak my sock in vinegar, and there you go a natural homemade "sap sheet".

@Gemanite55
But you do know that regular water contains an unholy host of chemicals, right? So of course there is going to be discolouration.
karenredpxl 5 months ago
@karenredpxl try it with distilled water then, it would turn out exactly the same. its the chemical in the pad
