Soon the cops come along, bother them and force them to scatter. Just last a few days ago, a group of white drunk white teens were smashing beer bottles at the same park at night, smashing benches, and acting all wild and crazy but no cops show up ever. Was it wrong that these two men were attacked? Yes. Is this a hate crime? No. Their was no detail as to any words used by the attacked and/or attackers. The "two white teens" were only beaten up because they confronted a larger group of people who happened to be black for stealing a bike. Was it wrong that these two men were attacked? Yes. Is this a hate crime? No. Their was no detail as to any words used by the attacked and/or attackers. The "two white teens" were only beaten up because they confronted a larger group of people who happened to be black for stealing a bike. You could change the race of any of the attackers or victims and this would play out the same way.
