Regarding all this talk about "race", how does one translate the organizational name La Raza? Does it not translate to

THE RACE? In the Alice in Wonderland world of political correctness and Social Marxism, only white people can be accused of or castigated for being "racist", no other group. That is the real issue, bringing to light the awful hypocrisy revolving around the words and concepts of "race" or "racism". In a PC world, all talk about "racism" dissolves into meaninglessness.

I love how unapologetic Bob has been. Americans are fed up with seeing politicians cowardly apologize & cower from the liberal political correctness thugs. If we want the illegals out of the country we need to start walking up to the bastards and in a loud voice tell them to get the fuck out. We need to voice our opinions to the companies that hire them. It's hard sometimes but I tried to boycott those such companies. Bob, thank you for taking this stand. What's happening in this country? Today I was driving and saw two people in the Statue of Liberty costumes waving American Flags...obviously promoting a tax service. There is certainly nothing wrong with that, but I asked myself...what does the American Flag stand for these days?  Is America losing the things that have made this country great? It was the politicians who started calling citizens racists for speaking out about illegal immigration. We the citizens have no illuisions about who the Congress and Senate represent. it it is without any doubt not us the ones who elected them to represent us. They represent only Wall Street, banks ,and Corporations. We all must be racists that is why we elected an African American president. Politicians are greedy self serving pigs.

Immigration law has nothing to do with race and saying we need to support it has nothing to do with racism. For those who read the headlines without watching the footage. Kellar was called a racist for this - he never said he was one by any reasonable stretch of the word! If I were on this council I'd be ashamed to sit with the other 4 members!!!!

I voted for Bob Kellar for his stand on Illegal Immigration, and enforcement of our laws. I have no use for the others in the Council members in office, and hope at least 3 of them will be voted out this April. These council members should apologize to all of us for not looking out for our best interest by standing up against these illegals that have ruined our city, and not taking action to remove them.

Prior to being hired, people should have the proper paperwork to prove citizenship. Employers should check drivers licenses or birth certificates and they should be verified. I don't see what is so hard about this.

I am Mexican, and I dont find him racist at all. My grandparents (on both mom and dad's side) were immigrants from Mexico but they were LEGAL immigrants. We need to enforce the laws of them coming here LEGALLY. What is so racist about that? My grandparents turned out to be very productive American citizens and were proud to be an American citizen, as am I, because if they didnt immigrate here, I wouldn't have the great life I have today. I praise Bob Kellar for saying how all Americans feel.

Councilman Kellar only expressed what most of us feel. Illegal aliens are the cause of this State's budget woes; from housing illegal criminals, treating illegals at our hospitals and clinics, to schooling illegal children. It's time we face up to this and enforce the laws of this nation. We as U.S citizens ask only that they come here legally. I don't think that is too much to ask. Sorry.
