In all honesty he lost the first election, due to large portions of black American's votes being disenfranchised.Bush will be remembered not because of positive accomplishments,but because he was the first president unable to do the traditional inaugural walk to the White House due to protesters and having eggs thrown at him. Not to mention being a puppet for the highest bidder. While I wasn't a big fan of Al Gore before his environmental crusades, he still would have been a better President.

I think what happened in terms of press coverage the stations were most likely asked to edit around the public outcry, because besides in Farenheit 911, I don't recall hearing more then a couple of minor comments about the eggs and hordes of protesters in attendance. Unfortunately most of the eggs only hit the Limo, and Secret Service. It would have been damn classic to see a picture of President Bush covered in egg, for future school history books to use lol!

While it is true lazy is an understatement. However, I refuse to insult citizens of our country as a whole, the same way I refuse to insult or mock any other nation's entire populations as a whole. Through manipulation by our Government in the media and other means, our citizens are forced to be obedient because of fear. The news programs/papers of our country prefer to only report events that have a negative effect. It's not hard to understand why most Americans are afraid to speak/act out.
