  • crap absoloutely crap

  • he may just be a great singer yet

  • He sounds so much like elmo in this :L

  • glad he has a teacher now. cute but needs training. I'll look for his later works

  • I cannot comprehend why anyone would put this up and leave it! Poor kid is all husky with a cold. Despite the fact that he has a great ear, and can sing high notes, he should have been recorded on a good day. Then everybody would be delighted to hear what he can do! Please remove it!

  • What the hell are you doing to that child? Stop abusing him. Let him play with other kids, not squeal out notes that are unneccesary. Teach him musicality, if you can even do that, and not exploit him for your benefit and put him on the internet.

  • singers should never cough... it damages the larynx... also forcing the notes out is damaging. high notes should be relaxed and confortable.

  • its not that impressive, but I'll give it a ten for cuteness...but thats about it.

  • This recording is two years old. He has a vocal teacher now. (see other vids). He wasn't sick here. He was clearing his throat which is something singers do to clear out the cobwebs - Better to sing through the gunk, but he had had zero training. It was just me seeing what he could do.

  • @Nathan1097 WHy did you need to see what he could do?

Are you helping him develop a natural interest, or are you pushing him to sing, because you yourself never got to?

  • In addition to my earlier remarks. Ignore all the uneducated criticisms you get from others. Some people get pleasure from dissing others. That''s weird isn't it?

    Aled

  • He's just kid yet (a cute one at that). Give him a chance. I suggest that he not try the impossible. Attempting the impossible could both turn him off singing and that would be a disaster and would strain his vocal cords.

Various esier voice excercise before scales. He's a game litle lad and should I hope get a great deal of pleasure out of singing. Don't let him guess how ambitious you are for him as that might lead to disappointment and refusal to carry on singing. Aled

  • i dont think u kno what an F1 is

  • Your kid is sick as hell. Get him to a doctor, and don't have him sing.

  • pobre niño casi se le revienta una cuerdita

  • Oh, my gosh! PLEASE don't let him sing when he is sick, EVER. He may get nodes on his vocal chords. He should be resting his voice and drinking only water.

"Give me 5" tells me you are NOT a vocal coach. He obviously has some talent. PLEASE get him a professional to train him, NOT you. For his benefit. If you care you will cease this torture to his voice.

I have been a singer for 53 years. I know what I am talking about.

  • This is bad to do when he's sick and has a cough it's too high for him, but it is cute :)

  • The boy has a cough! Singing is a major NO with a cough, it can damage the voice!

Pushing the child too far too young may kill his joy in music; he should be let have fun with it while little. His pitch seems good for his age and he prob doesn't need extra training. Pressure will drive him away from singing!

Posting videos of him labelled "boy soprano"/"treble" is just ridiculous! Does whoever posted it expect him to be the next big thing? This is cruel and exploitative.

    Noah is being used.

  • I agree with you. I hate this whole culture of pushy stage parenting.

  • I'm sure he wouldn't do this if he didn't want too :)

  • The cough is natural. Also, the extra high notes are whistle register. You should train both separately, and then work on a smooth transition between them.

  • This kid's got talent. With some patient training he could be brilliant. Singing high won't damage his voice, nor is it likely to cause a lasting cough. Good mum, keep encouraging him!

  • yea right.

  • this sounds more like a parent trying to produce a treble than encourage one.

  • Hire him to sing for a cough syrup commercial.

  • let him play outside with his friends!

  • feel bad for this kid!!

  • This is cruel and doesn't sound natural. I think the cough is a result of unnaturally high notes and the damage they are doing to his young voice.

  • poor kid

  • eeek...

  • It doesn't seem to me a good idea to force a child's voice compelling him to sing like a treble. Overall if he has a cough. No one of these "little trebles" became a great singer when grown-up, maybe for the excessive efforts that ruined the voice, or for they can bear music anymore...

  • Actually he has got a good voice for a 6 year

  • OMG KILL THE CHILD.

  • He's not very good is he?

  • tryna kill the poor child...

  • Could you possibly post this with 2-bit audio instead?

  • He's got a cold. Shouldn't be singing.

  • so...so...true...he'll ruin his voice!!!!

  • It's kind of, not to be too harsh... screechy.

  • ok........ not to put a crimp in the lad's ego, but that was outright painful!!! I beg you, take this thing off the internet before he gets a bit older and can look it up.

  • lol He's seen it/heard the recording. He generally let's things roll off his back. :)

  • Idea: in about a year, put up another vid of him doing the same thing, so folks can see the progress he is bound to make!! He seems determined so the contrast should be pretty strong.

  • omfg u r 1 of the wrost singers. my ears felt as though sum1 was shoving rusty nails in my ears untill they hit my brain then when they took them out they pured a mixture of salt and lemon juice in it!!!!!!

  • Cool. Nice analogy. An aural lobotomy!

  • what the crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh dear.

  • He actually just started in a local boy choir- in the preparatory choir. Came home singing a song and reading along to the music already.
