  • BEAUTY! What's it do in the 1/4?

  • wat kind of engine n transmission r u using?

  • 350 with a 6-speed out of a 2006 Pontiac G6.

  • @c332moto automatic or manual?

  • i think they should stop the corvette and bring the fiero back

  • i bet that motherfucker is a fast as HELL.

  • thats what gm should have done for 1989

  • what does it run

  • i had a 94 lt-1 z-28 and thats how i had to do the plugs...the distributer was fun too.

  • i would hate to change the plugs in that car lol

  • @SS350silverado Actually it is 10 time harder to change them in my 2002 F-150. You do them from underneath.

  • Whats the trans?

  • @vfIskullangel I'm using a 6-speed out of a 2006 Pontiac G6.

  • @c332moto So they bolt right up?

  • @wsimpson86 Yes

  • great job on the manifold and cover!

  • gotta love them noisy TPI injectors... my 91 Trans Am LB9 does the same thing. And I love the custom yet factory-looking touches on the engine, including the red and the fiero logo on the plenum. The factory 2.8 plenum was red too right?

  • Thanks. Yes it was red too.

  • Sorry, I mean the red Fiero manifold.

  • They are Arizona Speed and Marine runners with a custom made distributor cover.

  • @c332moto no shit lol i have a 383 strocker built by em in my 1988 GTA lol not many ppl no bout that company lol

  • @chandlerdf The TPI people do know about it. found it at thirdgen.org

  • @c332moto yeah i had 2 get mine rebuilt by one of my dads friends in chino valley cuz it was parked outside and sumbody came by at night stole the rims and dropped the car on the ground and a rock hit my armonic balancer and bent my crank

  • Where did you get that custom Fiero header?

  • The headers are Sanderson's CC10. Not custom.

  • Talk about 10 pounds of crap in a 1 pound bag. That is some impressive work.

  • did u get new lifters yet i can hear them need to adjust them

  • That's not any lifter noise. It is the injectors ticking.

  • That's not the lifters. It is the injectors ticking.

  • Is that a little bit of a lifter tick I hear?

  • Nice triple-port injection engine, man.

  • @420witchdoctor What's a triple port injection engine? LMAO. I think you mean "TUNED PORT INJECTION".

  • @JobeMinacum That's what I meant. I was drunk when I wrote that. I had just got done working on my grandpa's Chrysler Tri-Power that day.

  • dewd! this sounds nice

my brother and i were thinking about building something like this but using a buick gn turbo 6 and a 90 drgree transaxle like the 425 or something...maybe a turbo buick 350 with the same setup, but your sideways motor looks very nice.

  • Thanks. The GN engine would be a beast. The strongest trany usually is a 4T65HD or somthing like that.

  • @c332moto i got a 350 itching to go into something, did the small block bolt up to the fiero trans or do i have to get a new trans or adapter, and can i use the ould oil pan?

  • how long did the wiring take you??

  • Wiring was easy. I used the stock harness and added two injectors. TPI and the 2.8 use the same speed density sensors. But to do that I needed to use a specific GM Australia PROM code. Tunning it is what took a lot of time.

  • well the trunk is decent size for almost anything you would put a sports car but i am wondering what engines would fit nicely without any trouble in a fiero also looking for an engine to fit in my 96blazer.

  • Always wondered how you rn the exhaust off the headers when the motor is in the rear and its sideways

  • Well one side is easy... the other has a LONG run around the engine... you can pretty much forget about the trunk...

  • Well that is not true. I'm running two small mufflers. There are about 6-8" to the muffler then the pipe goes towards the back. The trunk is intact.

  • god bless GM!!!!!

  • Sounds like a mean beast. Good work.

  • very nice,good work

  • Thanks for the compliments. The tiking noise are the injectors.

  • Nice job on the pollishing on the plentum! I did one from an 87 IROC last year and it didn't turn out near as good as that . Aside from that, Very clean job. And where is that tick coming from? Is that the pc valve making that noise?

  • awesome v8 mod

  • i have a 4.9 but i want to do a 5.7 conversion chak mine out sik 4.9 fiero

  • did that engine came off a camaro and doues it bolt on to the 5 speed

  • That is the best looking V8 I've seen in a Fiero! It looks like it's meant to be there as though it came like that from the factory. Great Job!

  • They didn't. It's a swap.

The guy just custom engraved the intake.

  • that is freaking sweet!!!

  • the custom intake manifold is awsome

  • is sounds so beautiful...*weep*

  • where do you exactlybuy a v8 fiero....or do you have to get the engine seperatly

  • Just in case they never came with a V8. But wouldn't that be cool then? There is a kit you can buy to install any GenI,II,III,VI Chevy engine in it. You can buy a turnkey car too. I installed this one myself ;-)

  • your fucking insane my friend.

  • don't drive in the rain: DEATHTRAP

  • Tell it to me. With 366lbs or RWTQ I have to feather it in the rain :-D

  • Holy cow! how much does weigh? do you have a quarter mile time?

  • I've owned several and in the rain it is possible to spin out around a corner with the torque from only the Tech4. However, as long as you know that, the Fiero is the most fun car I've ever owned. I'm starting a clone of the Formula, but haven't decided on the engine yet. Looking for something interesting like this TPI V8. Congrats on your build !!!!!

  • Where u get that fiero intake manifold? looks nice.

  • Thanks. Custom made by a very good friend ;-)

  • Impressive; Is that the 305 or 350? Do you find that it understeers more with Xtra weight out back?

  • It's a 350. Weight difference is less than 50lbs. Main problem is oversteer with so much torque (366lbs rwTQ!)

  • i just stumbled on these v8 fieros.....what kinda transaxle are you useing?

  • All the stock ones that caem in the Fiero (or similar FWD cars) plus newer ones on new FWD casr with same Fiero pattern. I'm using the ^ speed one from a 2006 Pontiac G6.

  • my dad ran the same setup with the TPI but overheated and had a surging problem

  • sounds like your rockers need to be tightened.

  • Don't think so. Why you say that?

  • That's the clicking of the fuel injectors.
