Well, everybody knows that in order to have meat to cook, it must come from a slaughtered animal, yes, animals must die for us to have their meat. BUT, the way this mass production farms are keeping and dealing with the animals, is making humans sick. Not only emotionally, but must of all: physically. I don't really see the point of getting worked up over the Farm to Fridge video. This is a daily thing and the only way to stop it is to, well, cease the production of meat all together. However based what I watched in the film, I think that they could be a little bit nice to the animals. Kicking seems to me to be excessive. Anesthesia may be a good investment as well, but I am guessing it is very expensive.
I couldn't finish watching the actual video. I was already vegetarian before because i knew they hurt animals but I wasn't sure what they did really but after watching it I am staying vegetarian and I will have a farm with my own cow and my own chickens. :(
You shouldn't necessarily just go straight into being a vegan or vegetarian because of factory farms. There are plenty of farmers who (like myself) raise animals to be free range and live in green fields their whole lives. Plus, the meat's better tasting and better for you. The farms in that video are mass producers who sell to large stores, but you can also buy free range meat there and at a local farmers market. You'd be doing small time farmers like myself a huge favor.

I couldn't finish watching the actual video. I was already vegetarian before because i knew they hurt animals but I wasn't sure what they did really but after watching it I am staying vegetarian and I will have a farm with my own cow and my own chickens. :(

You shouldn't necessarily just go straight into being a vegan or vegetarian because of factory farms. There are plenty of farmers who (like myself) raise animals to be free range and live in green fields their whole lives. Plus, the meat's better tasting and better for you. The farms in that video are mass producers who sell to large stores, but you can also buy free range meat there and at a local farmers market. You'd be doing small time farmers like myself a huge favor.

What vegans need to understand is that you're not paying for torture, you're paying for food. The fault isn't at the buyers of food, it's at the producers. What this world needs isn't for people to stop buying food, it's for meat producers to treat animals with care and respect.
